Hiya, I’m Sarah, a 30’s something Australian whose only direction seems to be going around the world. My greatest achievement to date (and forever) is getting caught on Google Maps – Street View; although getting in the top 10 of slither.io was pretty neat as well.

My travelling style is meeting 3-day best friends, sitting in a café planning or reading, going out dancing or karaoke, and checking out anything ghost related! I tend to explore everywhere on foot, sleep on overnight buses, and learn to get through everything thrown my way while enjoying every mysterious, bizarre and wonderful aspect of it.
I’ve always written diaries, and I still have the one from 2004. Yes, it is embarrassing. When I started to become addicted to the internet [shout out to Neopets!], I saw myself making ones through Blogger and then in university – Tumblr.
To see the world, things dangerous to come to, to see behind walls, draw closer, to find each other, and to feel. That is the purpose of life.
This will be my third blog based around travel – however, previously it was more journal-style entries for my family/friends than a place that holds information, resources and itinerary plans for others to enjoy. You can see my last travel blog here.

I’ll talk about my mishaps (there are a lot), troubles (also a lot ), how things luckily go right, how I cope as a solo traveller, and how I deal as a female traveller.
I’ll explain how I’ve met some of my best friends travelling, how I meet up with old friends as well as anything that comes up along the way!
It was good, really, that this external world still existed, if only as a place of refuge.
Through this, I’ll recommend books, podcasts and Netflix downloads to get you through that next leg. Travel Tips include essentials, capsule wardrobes, and having the best carry-on.
I’ll post about my global travels, including where to go, what to see, and what to do. I’ll always link or credit where I’ve found sources, or if I’ve used other blogs.
